Mrs. Conrad E. Kruck, 82 (photo) died this morning at the home of her son, Roy,
of 702 Huron street, with whom she resided. She had been in failing health
several weeks.
Funeral plans are incomplete, awaiting arrival of two sons from away, and will
be announced Thursday. The body is at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home.
Mrs. Kruck, nee Henrietta Balk??, was born in New Orleans, La., in 1865. In 1894
she was married to Mr. Kruck, a native of this city, who was at that time employed
as a railway inspector in New Orleans. Forty-two years ago they came to this city,
and Mr. Kruck was employed at the Manitowoc Ship Building company. He retired in
1938.
Mr. and Mrs. Kruck observed their golden wedding anniversary with a family gathering
in this city, Feb. 17, 1944. Mr. Kruck died April 10, 1945.
Mrs. Kruck was a member of the First Lutheran church and for years was active in
the Ladies Aid society of the congregation.
Survivors are five sons, Roy, Ray and Ernest of this city, Clifton of Fond du Lac,
and Edward of Toronto, Can.; and five grandsons.

Funeral services for Mrs. Conrad E. Kruck, 82, who died yesterday at the home
of her son, Roy, of 702 Huron street, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home. The Rev. R.B. Walden of the St. Paul Lutheran
church will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
