Mrs. Alma Krueger, 85, formerly of 1126 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning in Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services wil be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Krueger, nee Alma Ottelien was born April 9, 1893 in Reedsville, daughter of the late August and Amelia Sorge Ottelien. She was married to Ervin Krueger September 30, 1914 in Reedsville, moving to Manitowoc where they owned and operated a grocery store for many years. Mr. Krueger preceded her in death in 1966.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Bette Krueger; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ione and Richard (illegible) and James Parkin; three sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Esther) Hussey, Mrs. Emil (Emma) Kraus and Miss Viola Ottelien of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. To 8 p.m. Thursday and in the church after 9:30 .m. Friday until the time of service.
