Mrs. Myrtle T. Krueger, 79, of 718 N. 8th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glen J. Siferd will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krueger was born Oct. 7, 1903, at Valders, daughter of the late Theodore and Mathilda Evenson Erickson. She was married to Clarence Krueger Oct. 31, 1925, at Valders. The couple farmed in the Town of Eaton until 1952 when they moved to Manitowoc to make their home. Mr. Krueger preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Krueger was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Violet and Raphael Rusch of Route 2, Reedsville, Harriet and Wendell Knapp of Manitowoc and Louise and Lawrence Jandrey of Appleton, a daughter-in-law, Barbara Krueger of Manitowoc; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ernest Erickson and Russell Erickson of Manitowoc, Laverne and Mabel Erickson, and Betty Erickson of Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Curt Kalkbrenner of Columbus, Wis., 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, and at the church from noon until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
