Henry Krush, 73, of 620 Huron St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after suffering a heart attack Sunday. He was the
former foreman of the Soo Line Railroad repair shop.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. D.L.
Krembs officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 17, 1878, in Stevens Point and came to Manitowoc in 1905.
About 52 years ago he married the former Bertha Sawyer of Fond du Lac. She
died in 1943. He was a member of the Railroad Foremen’s Club of Fond du Lac.
Surviving are two sons, Paul and Walter of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph
Gehrke of Neenah; four sisters, Miss Frances Krush of Milwaukee, Mrs. Harry
Osbourne of Wauwatosa and Mrs. Helen Perzinsky and Mrs. Mary Koltz of Stevens
Point; two brothers, Walter of Milwaukee and Jacob of Stevens Point; five
grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m.
