Harry Kuehn, 61, of 1318A S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly of a heart
attack Wednesday afternoon in the office of Dr. R. G. Yost, Manitowoc. The
Police Dept. rescue squad was summoned at 2:42 o’clock.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
with the Rev. W. W. Gieschen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Kuehn was born at Milwaukee July 25, 1896, son of the late Richard and Mary
Kretchmeyer Kuehn. He came to Manitowoc in 1940 where Sept. 27, 1941, he married
Ruth Wendel. He was employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., as an estimator until
1954. He then moved to Oshkosh where he was employed three years by Bell Machine
Co. Following retirement the couple returned to Manitowoc.
Mr. Kuehn was a veteran of World War I serving with Co. D. 107th Engineers, from
April 26, 1917, until May 27, 1919. He was a member of Drews-Bleser Post No. 88,
American Legion.
His wife survives him.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
