Mrs. Emily Kugle, 77, of Reedsville, died Monday morning at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reedsville Funeral
Home. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kugle, nee Emily Konop was born Aug. 24, 1894, at Stangelville,
daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Vochadlo Konop. she was married
to Francis Kugle Feb. 4, 1920, at Stangelville. Her husband preceded her
in death in 1937.
She was postmistress at Reedsville for 17 years. She was a charter member
of the American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of St. Ann Christian
Mothers Altar Society of St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville.
Survivors include a son, five daughters, one sister, Mrs. Jack Schleis,
of Manitowoc; and 25 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer
service will be held at 8 p.m.
