Mrs. Alma L. Kuhl, 86, of 314 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning, April 8, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kuhl was born April 28, 1896, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Fred and Amelia Post Lohse. She grew up in Manitowoc, attended Manitowoc schools and lived here all her life. She was married to Charles M. Kuhl may 28, 1918, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death June 28, 1971.
Survivors include a son, Charles Kuhl Jr., and a daughter, Elaine M. Kuhl of Manitowoc; a brother, Edward Lohse of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Thompson of Manitowoc and Mrs. Oranda Kadow of DePere, Wis., 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two sons, William and Robert, a daughter, Dorothy Franz, three sisters, Helen, Mary and Lydia, six brothers, Arthur, Irwin, Albert, Max, Otto and Bill and a great grandson, Jarod preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street Chapel, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday until the time of service.
