Mrs. Frank (Esther) Kuhnle, of 951 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 7, at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kuhnle, nee Esther Elizabeth Ruether, was born at Brillion, Wis., daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Bruss Ruether. She moved to Manitowoc in 1927. She was married to Frank E. Kuhnle Sept. 23, 1935, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. Mrs. Kuhnle was a member of Holy Innocents Parish and Christian Women of the Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Frank E., a daughter, Rosemary E. Manlick, a grandson, Randy D. Manlick and a sister, Mrs. Cora Vogt all of Manitowoc, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Don Schneider.
