MARGARET M. KURTH
Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Kurth, 48, of 932 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J.
Schmitt will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kurth, nee Margaret Schroeder, was born Aug. 31, 1926, at Manitowoc, daughter
of Leo A. and Loretta Dusold Schroeder. She was educated in Manitowoc area schools
and was graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944. She was married to Paul E.
Kurth June 12, 1948, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Kurth was a legal secretary for Atty. Louis
Croy of Manitowoc. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, three sons, David, of Manitowoc and Charles and
Andrew, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Paulette) Novak, of Manitowoc and
Miss Gretchen Kurth, of Oshkosh; her parents of Manitowoc; and two sisters, Mrs.
Clarence (Marilyn) Pritzl, of Kiel and Mrs. George (Carol) Pautz, of New Holstein.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday,
where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
