RICHARD KUSCHEL
Richard L. Kuschel, 70, a resident of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc the past four years, died Monday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kushel was born July 12, 1907 in Manawa, son of the late William and Amelia Marrquart Kushel. He married Gladys T. Ziarnik June 6, 1942 in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee until 1967 when they moved to Green Bay, where they resided for eight years prior to moving to Manitowoc. Mr. Kushel had been employed with Nash Motor Co. of Milwaukee until his retirement in 1962. He had been a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Martin of Madison and nieces and nephews.
