Clarence J. Kvitek, age 86, a resident of Park View Health Center, Winnebago, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 14, 2004, at the center. Private family funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service was Deacon Robert Drobka with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. He was born July 5, 1917, in the town of Cooperstown, son of the late Joseph and Mary Kubsh Kvitek. Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law: Joseph J. and Germaine Kvitek, Melnik; and John Kvitek, Denmark. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alice and Agnes. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
