Joseph Kvitek, 89, of Rt. 1, Maribel, died early Thursday morning enroute to
Manitowoc Hospital, following a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 11:00
am Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, New Denmark, with the Rev. C.A.
Dionne officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born July 1, 1873 in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late John and
Anna Kopidlansky Kvitek and was a lifelong resident of the Maribel area. He
married Mary Kubsch July 16, 1913 at Greenstreet.
Among survivors are his wife; three sons, Clarence of Manitowoc, Joseph of Rt.
1, Whitelaw and John of Rt. 1, Maribel; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Kriznek of
Manitowoc and Mrs. Joseph Denor of Brillion; a brother, Matt of Rt. 1, Maribel
and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 o'clock this Thursday evening at DeWane Funeral Home,
Denmark. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening and 8 pm Friday.
