Mrs. Mary Kvitek, 78, of Rt. 1, Maribel, died Monday evening at a Green Bay
hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church,
New Denmark. The Rev. James Geenan will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kvitek, nee Mary Kubsch, was born July 16, 1890, in Manitowoc County,
daughter of the late George and Mary Hodachek Kubsch. She was married to
Joseph Kvitek July 16, 1913, at Greenstreet. They farmed in the community
all their life and Mr. Kvitek preceded her in death in 1962.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ed Krajnek and Mrs. Alice Denor of
Manitowoc; three sons, Clarence of Manitowoc, Joe of Whitelaw and John of
Rt.1, Maribel; three brothers, John and Frank of Manitowoc and Joe of
Cooperstown; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Collins of Picque, Ohio, and Miss Cecelia
of Manitowoc; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at DeWane Funeral Home, Denmark, after 2 p.m. Wednesday where
the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
