Mrs. Meta M. Ladwig, 89, of River Hill Apartments, Manitowoc, died Saturday,
November 12, 1988, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Everreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ladwig was born June 9, 1899, at Marinette, Wisconsin, daughter of the late
Frederick and Ida Marg Minzlaff. She married Carl E. Ladwig on May 16, 1953, at
Menominee, Michigan. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1977. Mrs. Ladwig
was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary.
Survivors include four sisters, Florence Klinkhammer of Evanston, Illinois, Anna
Pihl of Manitowoc, Margaret (Dennis) Rall of McHenry, Illinois, and Lydia (Mel)
Leitzke of Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. Tuesday to
the time of services. Memorials would be appreciated to Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of
arrangements.
