Mrs. Adolph (Pauline) Leider, 80, a resident of Shady Lane Home, formerly of 1615 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Dec. 26, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Leider, nee Pauline Lindemann, was born Jan. 30, 1899, in the Town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Carl and Emelia Wienke Lindemann. She grew up in the Town of Liberty, attended Trinity Lutheran School, later moving to Newtonburg and in 1916 to Manitowoc where she had resided since. She was married to Adolph Leider Feb. 24, 1916, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1966. Mrs. Leider was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Edith and Harold Mumpy and Germaine and Edward Wiegand of Manitowoc, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three infant children, three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
