Funeral services for 2nd Lt. Neil A. Leitner, 25, of 3316 Mero St.,
Manitowoc, who was killed June 19, were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Hilfert C. Sonkowsky
officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, where gravesite
rites were conducted by an honor guard of the Antigo Air Force
Station.
Pallbearers were Gene R. Rife, James V. Kohlbeck, Donald Leitner,
Frederick Chyneweth, Brent O’Brien and Larry F. Fine. During the
rites the airforce accorded a flyover by three jet planes stationed
at Milwaukee.
