Mr. Cortland F. Leneau, 83, of 1017 N. 6th Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday,
October 1, at his residence. Cremation will take place and Jens Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, is assisting the family.
Mr. Leneau was born February 9, 1902 at Oconto, Wisconsin, son of the late
Frank and Elizabeth LeMountain Leneau. He attended schools in the Oconto are
and later the Business College here in Manitowoc. Mr. Leneau was a salesman
for Schmidtman Company of Manitowoc for 35 years. He married Marcella Strong
on November 7, 1927 at Two Rivers. She preceded him in death in 1960. He then
married Minnie Traurig Beaupre on August 16, 1961 in Manitowoc and the couple
residing here.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ann
Leneau of Manitowoc; a step-son and his wife, Clifford and Betty Beaupre of
Sturgeon Bay; a daughter and son-in-law, Mardell Rosinsky of Manitowoc; five
grandchildren, three step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one step
great grandson; cousins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two
sisters.
