GERALD H. LESMONDE
Gerald H. LesMonde, 73, of 729 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning,
June 21, 1986 at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm
Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 2 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial
to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. LesMonde was born October 18, 1912 at Green Bay, son of the late Desire and
Olive Trask LesMonde. He moved to Manitowoc with his parents as a child, residing
here since. He married the former Margaret Montag on May 19, 1972 at Manitowoc.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. LesMonde owned and operated Jerry's Vacuum Cleaner
and Sewing Machine Sewing Center.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; three sons and two daughters-in-law,
Gerald Jr. and Sheila LesMonde of Maribel, David LesMonde and DuWayne and Dawn
Montag of Duluth, Minnesota; five daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Rodewald of
Branch, Cheryl Montag of Marinette, Rosemarie and Dan Scipponi, Angelique Montag
and Jean Montag, all of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Frick of Manitowoc, also
her son, William Frick and his son, Mark, both of Milwaukee and five grandchildren
also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 pm to 9 pm this Monday
evening. A prayer service will be held at 8 pm Monday evening led by Deacon
William Klein.
