NORBERT LETTENBERGER

Norbert Lettenberger, 72, of 1402 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at
the family residence.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr.
Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc, with military graveside services by the American Legion.
Mr. Lettenberger was born March 12, 1897, at St. Nazianz, son of the late
John and Hermina Woenketz Lettenberger. He married Hilma Isselman June 27,
1927, at St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc. He had been a foreman at Mirro
Aluminum Rolling Mill when he retired in 1962. He was a member of the
American Legion, the Mirro Twenty-five Year Club and the St. Boniface Holy
Name Society. He was also a Veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S.
Navy.
Survivors include his wife; a son, two daughters, a brother, Herman of Kiel,
and 14 grandchildren. A sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday, where a wake
memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m.
