LINCOLN E.T. LOOKER

Lincoln E.T. Looker, 74, of Orlando, Florida and a former Manitowoc and Green
Bay resident, died Wednesday morning in Orlando, Florida.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1891 at Brooklyn, N.Y., and married the former Helen
Birkholz in 1918. She preceded him in death in 1929. In 1933 Mr. Looker married
the former Lucy King. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard for 33 years and
retired in 1947 with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Edward C. Looker, Maribel; one daughter,
Mrs. Norman (Elaine) Kelman, Palatine, Ill.; five grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Carey Hand Funeral Home
in Orlando, Florida. Burial rites were held at 2 pm Saturday at the Evergreen
Cemetery in Manitowoc. The Rev. Robin Butler, assistant pastor at the First
Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc, officiated at the graveside rites. Members of
the Two Rivers Coast Guard Station formed an honor guard.
Pallbearers were Thomas, Mark, Greg and Jon Looker, grandsons and Gustave and
Alvin Birkholz. The Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, was in charge of the burial
arrangements.
