Mrs. John Marquardt, 71, nee Emilie Dummer, of 1405 South 12th street, died
early Saturday evening at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering
illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Pfeffer funeral home,
the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Marquardt was born in Germany in 1869 and came to this county in 1891.
She was married in 1900 to John Marquardt and they resided in this city.
Survivors are the widower; daughter, Mrs. Alfred Johnsrud, of this city; son
Richard, of Boston, Mass.; sister, Mrs. Marie Meyer, of this city; two brothers,
Albert and William of this city; and one grandchild.
The body is lying in state at the Pfeffer funeral home and may be viewed until
the hour of the services.
