Miss Kathleen McCarty, 12, of 721 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Sunday after-
noon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. The ___ grade student at Sacred Heart
School has been ill for an extended time with leukemia.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. __
___Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Miss McCarty was born at Manitowoc July 19, 1945, daughter of Edward D. and
Helen Grimmer McCarty. She was confirmed at Sacred Heart Church Nov. 3, 1957,
and was a member of the Girl Scout troop of the parish.
Surviving in addition to the parents are two brothers, Patrick and Michael, a
sister, Maureen, and the paternal grandmother, Ms. ___ McCarty of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where Girl Scouts
will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m. The parish Rosary will be said at 8 p.m.
