FLORENCE L. MILLER (d. 1962)

Mrs. George Miller, 52, of 1420 N. 21st St., Manitowoc, died early Tuesday at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. T. F. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Miller was born Florence Fierst March 8, 1910, in the Town of Kossuth,
Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank Fierst and Emma Swetlik Fierst.
She attended rural schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School in
1927.
She was married to George Miller on Oct. 19, 1935, at Woodstock, Ill., and
they established their home at Manitowoc. She was office and credit manager
at Rahr’s Supply division.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Frank Fierst of Francis Creek;
a brother, Raymond, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; four sisters, Mrs. Victor (Irene) Feit
and Mrs. Francis (Dorothy) Bolle of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; Mrs. George V. (Evelyn)
Elfner of Milwaukee and Mrs. Frank (Rosalie) Nesuer of Rt. 2, Manitowoc.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be moved to the
church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
