DIES AT HOME TUESDAY NIGHT
Mrs. Stella Mitchell To Be Laid To Rest Thursday
Mrs. Stella Mitchell, 76, wife of Dr. R.S. Mitchell, died Tuesday night at the
home, 508 St. Clair street. She has been an invalid for years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek
and Schlei funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Stella Carr, was born in Yates county, New
York state, in 1859. Forty two years ago she was married to Dr. R.S. Mitchell
and two years later removed to Manitowoc where Dr. Mitchell opened an office
as a veterinarian. They continued to reside here since.
Survivors are the widower and one son, Louis, Terre Haute, Ind.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
