Mrs. Otto Mittelstadt of 302 Cleveland Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday evening
at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church Chapel,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Vingar will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Mittelstadt, nee Anna Schmidt, was born in Milwaukee, daughter of the
late Frank and Anna Will Schmidt. She attended schools in Milwaukee. She was
married to Otto Mittelstadt June 16, 1914, at Milwaukee and the couple came
to Manitowoc to reside in 1917. Mrs. Mittelstadt was a member of First
Lutheran Church and very active in all the church circles.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Robert of San Francisco, two daughters,
Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Borchardt of Manitowoc and Mrs. John (Alice) Swartz of
Irving, Texas, a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Lillian) Jensen of Milwaukee, five
grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and
on Monday from noon until the time of service at the chapel. The casket will
remain closed.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
