Erhardt F. Schrank, 74, of 1814 Fairmont St, Manitowoc, died Thursday,
February 18, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry Ellenberger will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Schrank was born Oct. 28, 1907, in the Town of Liberty, son of the late
Fredrick and Albertina Busse Schrank. He was a sales agent for Standard Oil
Company 33 years, retiring in 1970. He married Ethel Evenson June 25, 1929.
She preceded him in death in 1971. He married Fern Long Christiansen Aug. 28,
1972, at Manitowoc, and the couple resided here. He was a member of Bethany
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc Senior Citizens and the Warblers. He
was a former member of the missed and male choirs, of First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Fern, two daughters and a son-in-law, Mrs. Marilyn
Rosenbauer of Osman and Elaine and Duane Muck of Manitowoc; a stepson and
daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Christiansen of Whitelaw; three stepdaughters
and sons-in-law, Carol and James Lambert, Joan and Robert Kadow and Bonnie and
Leonard Yindra of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Esther
Schrank and a sister and brother-in-law, Erna and Norbert Brick of Manitowoc,
10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, two step
great grandchildren, step sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, other relatives
and friends. A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of service. Memorials
may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc Lutheran High
School or the charity of the donor's choice.
