ABIGAIL SCHROEDER
Mrs. Abbie Schroeder, 85, of Mtd. Rt. 30 Fond du Lac, and formerly of Manitowoc,
died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, where she had
been a patient 10 days. She had been in ill health for a number of weeks earlier.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Zacherl Funeral Home, Fond du Lac,
the Rev. B.J. Stecker, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac,
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schroeder was born Abbie Hall March 19, 1876, at Ringwood, Ill., daughter
of the late David and Frances Hobart Hall. She was married to Charles Schroeder
March 23, 1897, at Chicago. He preceded her in death April 19, 1944, and she
came to Manitowoc shortly there after. She lived at Manitowoc for a number of
years, before moving to Fond du Lac.
She was a member of Rebecca Lodge of Manitowoc and also a member of the Women's
Relief Corps of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Florence Sieker, of Manitowoc and Leah B.
Nelson, of California; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
