LESTER C. STAUDT
Lester C. Staudt, 83, of 930 North Ave., Sturgeon Bay, died Saturday aFternoon
at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Staudt was born June 2, 1893, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Donald
and Emma Benninger Staudt. He was reared and educated at Manitowoc and worked
for many years for U.S. Forestry Service in the state of Florida. After his
retirement he returned to Manitowoc and later moved to Sturgeon Bay in 1974.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, John, of Bakersfield, Calif, and good friends,
(private). A brother, Elmer, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street Chapel,
from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the church from noon until the time
of service.
