Louis Stehula, 41 (photo) 2714 Clark street, founder and head of
the Quality Beverage company, South 26th street, died this morning
at the Holy Family hospital. He submitted to a major operation 10
days ago.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek
and Schlei funeral home and at 9 o'clock at the St. Paul's Catholic
church, the Rev. Martin Jaeckels officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in this city in 1906, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Stehula. In 1927 he married Miss Marie Jeffrey. Seventeen years ago
he founded the Beverage company. He was a member of the Manitowoc
aerie of Eagles and was active in several bowling leagues.
Mr. Stehula is survived by his wife; son and daughter (Survivors
omitted for privacy.), all of this city; two brothers, Julius of
this city and Henry of Algoma; six sisters, Mrs. Edward Koutsky
and Mrs. Edward Lindholm of this city, Mrs. Arthur Wenzel of
Milwaukee, Mrs. Walter Tenor, Mrs. Duane Richmond and Mrs. Wesley
Brandt all of Algoma; and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Stehula of Hilbert
Junction.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home Thusday evening where
the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.
