MOTHER OF 9, EX-RESIDENT, DIES AT ALGOMA
Complications of various ailments yesterday at Algoma claimed the
life of Mrs. E. Stehula, former Manitowoc resident and mother of
nine children, death coming after a brief illness and at the early
age of 43. The Stehula family live in Manitowoc for a number of
years and moved to Algoma four years ago.
Mrs. Stehula, nee Bertha Krueger, was born in Morrison, Brown county,
on July 4, 1887 and later moved to this city with her husband and
family. In addition to the husband she is survived by Louis, a member
of the Manitowoc fire department, and Rose of Manitowoc; Anita, Amanda,
Theresa, Adeline, Clara, Henry and Julius, all of Algoma; four brothers,
Frank Krueger, Manitowoc, Charles Krueger, Reedsville; Davis Krueger,
Wayside and William Krueger, Shirley, one sister, Mrs. Ed. Goldenstedt
of Maribel and two grandchildren.
Funeral at Algoma
Funeral services will be held from the home at Algoma at 12:30 o'clock
noon Friday with interment taking place at Evergreen cemetery. The
funeral cortege is to leave the family home immediately after the
services and is expected to arrive at Manitowoc at about 3:15 p.m.
Friday.
