William J. Strodthoff, 81, of 901 Chicago St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a three weeks illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical and
Reformed Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Strodthoff was born Oct. 18, 1878, at Newton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Strodthoff. He was a cheesemaker by trade and never married.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Strodthoff of Manitowoc, and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be removed to the church
where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
