OLD RESIDENT OF CITY PASSES AWAY, AGED 82
Mrs. Louis Timm, eighty two, pioneer resident of the city, died at the
family home 1331 South Fourteenth street at 6 o’clock last evening
following an illness of ten days, due to infirmities incident to old age.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the home with
services at the Lutheran church, Rev. Karl Machmiller officiating at
2 o’clock. Burial will be at Evergreen.
Mrs. Timm was born in Mecklenberg-Schwerin, Germany, July 7, 1840 and on
October 18, 1869 was married to Louis Timm, the couple coming to America
and this city three years later and have since resided here. Besides the
aged husband she is survived by six children, John, William, Herman, Emil
Timm and Mrs. Amanda Ladwig of this city and Charles of Milwaukee and by
three brothers Fred and Charles Ladwig of this city and August Ladwig of
New London; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Hintz, of this city.
