Ruth E. Van De Hey, age 89, a former Manitowoc resident, died on Sunday morning,
Aug. 2, 2009, at Muskego Health Care Center, Muskego.
She was born on July 13, 1920, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late John &
Olga (Rohbach) Hardrath. On Aug. 16, 1948, she married William R. Van De Hey in
Michigan. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1993.

She was also preceded in death by one sister: Fernie, and three brothers: Melvin,
Erwin, and Hugo Hardrath.
Funeral Services for Ruth will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009,
at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev.
Dr. James Klein with burial to follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at the Pfeffer
Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The visitation will continue on Saturday
morning, August 8, 2009, also at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of
the service at 10:30 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the Van De Hey family with funeral
arrangements.
