MINNIE W. VOGT (d. 1942)

Mrs. Henry Vogt, Sr., 67, lifelong resident of Manitowoc, died Friday night at
the home, 1802 Wollmer street, after a six months illness. Her husband preceded
her in death last March.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, the Rev. Ernest Zoerb of the First Lutheran church offic-
iating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Vogt, nee Minnie Witt, was born in this city in 1874 and was married to
Henry Vogt in 1897. Mr. Vogt, for nearly 35 years, was a painter-foreman at the
yards of the Manitowoc Ship Building Company. He retired in June, 1940 and died
March 19 last.
Mrs. Vogt is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edgar Hansen and Mrs. William
Nemetz of this city, Mrs. Aaron Kerscher of Waukegan, Ill.; two sons, Edgar B.
and Henry, Jr., of this city; and 11 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed from Sunday noon until the hour of the services.
