Mrs. J. L. Waggoner Succumbs at Denver: PERU - Mrs. Jessie L. Waggoner, 79, of Denver, died at her home at 7:15 a.m. Sunday following an illness of one month. Born at Portland, Ind. on Feb. 5, 1881, she was the daughter of William and Sarah Hardy Martin. She had been a resident of the Denver community 50 years and was a member of the Denver Baptist church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Nellie Dice and Mrs. Louella VanDusen, both of Denver; Mrs. Esther Dickerhoff, of Deedsville; Mrs. Pearl Stuart, of Goshen; Mrs. Geanette Hotchkiss, Fresno, Calif. and Mrs. Josephine Harrison, of Campbell Calif.; and four sons, Harry Waggoner, of of Goshen; James Waggoner, of Chili and Richard and Fremont Waggoner, of Denver; twenty grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McCain funeral home, Indiana 16 and U. S. 31, with Rev. C. F. Golden officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn cemetery at Denver. Call at the funeral home.
