Funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. from the Sloan Funeral home, Morris, with the Rev. L. E. Pitkin, Methodist pastor, officiating, and burial in the family plot in Hillington cemetery in that village.
Mr. Chase was a carpenter and mason, and a respected resident of his community. At one time he worked for the late H. H. Buckley on Cathedral farms, Oneonta. He retired eight years ago.
He was born in the town of Pittsfield, May 21, 1867, and his marriage to Miss Wilson took place in New Berlin, December 20, 1893.
Surviving are five sons; Harold D. Chase of Morris, R. D., .... a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Sprague of Morris; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. They will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
