"MORRIS - Mrs. Myrtle E. Sprague died December 3d at Fox Hospital, Oneonta. She had been ill since November 1st. Funeral services were held at her home at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 6th. Rev. James Alcock, pastor of the Chapin Memorial Universalist Church of Oneonta, officiated. Burial was in Hillington Cemetery, Morris. Mrs. Sprague was born in Morris, June 17th, 1868, a daughter of John and Helen (Hurlbutt) Chase. She was married May 11, 1892 in Morris to George W. Sprague. She was a member of the Universalist Church of Morris. Mrs. Sprague is survived by a son, Ora of Morris; a daughter, Mrs. John Lennox of Delhi, and two step grandsons, Robert and Richard Campfield of Morris."
