George was 82 when he died. He lived in the Bredinsburg area all his life.

I live in the suburbs of Washington DC, but my maiden
name is Linda Blair, I grew up in "the Call house" across Bredinsburg Road from the
Friggle Farm. I remember George--we called him Uncle George, he sat on the
swing and smoked cigars and talked to us when we were little kids. I
remember Clara and Goldie and John and John's children, they were our
"nearest neighbors" and very much part of our childhood. John still grew hay
on the fields beside the house, and Uncle George still had two mammoth dray
horses that were hooked up once a year to pull the haywagon across the road
to bring a year's worth of hay for our cows.

My name is Charlotte Blair Stewart and I grew up in the house across the
street from George & Clara Friggle. I remember both of them founding. I
also knew Clara and Goldied and John and Alberta. I don't remember much
about John, but my dad knew all of the extremely well and we were just
talking about them last month when I visited him in Florida.

Are you positive that the house you are showing was the Friggle house
and not ours?? I am curious, as it looks almost identical to our house
and I never remember the two houses being so much alike? Of course, when
I was growing up there in the 50's and 60's their house was surrounded
by trees and we did not see it cleared out, as in your picutre.
I just was curious.
