She was the loving mother of two sons both of Springfield. She is also survived by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Springfield and worked for thirty one years for Illinois Bell Telephone Company.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Stephen Thompson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
