JOHN E. CISLER

John E. (Jack) Cisler, 82, of Valders, died Tuesday evening in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Carl Peters will officiate and burial will be in Our Saviors Cemetery, Valders.
Mr. Cisler was born Sept. 12, 1895, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Adolph and Mary Cenefelt Cisler. In 1914, Mr. Cisler started Whitelaw Meat Market and came to Valders in 1919 to operate Valders Meat Market for 40 years, retiring in 1959. He married Esther Fehrmann Oct. 22, 1919, in Manitowoc. Mr. and Mrs. Cisler celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary in 1969.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glenn of Rt. 1, Valders; two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Violet) Delaney of Elm Grove, Wis., and Mrs. Marlene Turner of Brookfield; a brother, Charles of Branch; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Mae) Larson of Rockwood and Mrs. Hiram (Clara) Larson of Manitowoc, nine grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
