William Bridger
Ilion - William F Bridger, 84, of 153 South Fourth Ave, a retired machinist, of Sperry Rand, died December 27, 1968, in Mohawk
Valley General Hospital. He was born in the Town of Cherry Valley and attended schools there. He married Florence Armstrong in 1905. She died in 1960. He then married Mabel Crandall in 1961 in Ilion.
He was employed by Sperry Rand for 31 years before he retired in 1991 He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church. Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Paul Bridger, East Herkimer; Harold Bridger, Newport, and Randall Bridger, IIion;
two brothers, Floyd Bridger, Cooperstown, and Harry Bridger, Chittenango and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lee, Cooperstown,
and Mrs. Lynn Vandevoe, Oneonta.
The funeral will be at 1;30 tomorrow from the White-Herndrix Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Springfield Centery Cemetery.
