She was a native of Gaston County, born September 21, 1958, daughter of Ann Payne Hayes Biggerstaff and the late Gaither Paul Hayes.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Hayes and a brother Calvin David Hayes and a brother-in-law Donnie Stiles.

Debbie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she loved her family dearly and enjoyed her grandchildren very much. Debbie was a member of Restoring Hope Dallas Foursquare Church. She was a graduate of North Gaston High school and had received her CAN from Gaston College .She worked at Wix Corp for many years and Cavalier Specialty Yarn and currently at Pharr Yarn.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Tommy Rimmer and their five children, Sons, Chris Rimmer of Gastonia, Jonathan Rimmer and wife Kelly of Gastonia, Jeremy Rimmer and wife Gina of Gastonia, Daughters, Brandy Gibby and husband Mark of Dallas, Kimberly Starrett and husband Charlie of Dallas; 17 Grandchildren and I great granddaughter, Lux Rimmer
