Heinzen, Frank (Nov. 19, 1865-March 19, 1946 –husband of Maria Anna Hartman [married Oct. 21, 1890 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton] –son of Peter Joseph Heinzen and Katherine Beth –twin of Elizabeth Heinzen Burkhard –born Town of Eaton. On July 7, 1890 he purchased from his widowed father the 80 acre farm at 9517 Greendale Road in Section 36, Town of Eaton –on Sept. 27, 1901 Frank sold this 80 acre farm to his brother-in-law Joseph Hecker and his wife Marie Heinzen –for the short period of March 16, 1901 to Nov. 16, 1901 owned 5 acres in the western 20 acres of the NW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 28, Town of Eaton –on Sept. 27, 1901 purchased the 100 acre Friedrich Rabe farm at 9604 Greendale Road in Section 35, Town of Eaton –this was the same day that he sold his 80 acre farm at 9517 Greendale Road in Section 36, Town of Eaton to Joseph Hecker –these two farms were across the road from each other –owned the farm at 9604 Greendale Road until selling on Feb. 26, 1943 to Max and Louisa Rauch –in the period 1920 to 1943, Frank owned this farm but lived at 103 Elm Street in St. Nazianz –his son Hugo lived on and managed the farm at 9604 Greendale Road during those years –on Dec. 16, 1920 purchased the 40 acre farm centered at 103 Elm Street in St. Nazianz –a barn was then built on this lot in 1922 with Frank using this land as a small farm –both Frank and Maria Anna lived in this house until their deaths –from April 9, 1915 to June 23, 1923 owned the lot with house at 105 Birch Court in St. Nazianz –used this house as rental property –died from “strangulation –suicide at home”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 3, Row 7, Lot 7 –stone][marriage record Manitowoc 6-61] [death record Manitowoc 39-255]
