Sarah Rosenberger Age 89, died on Monday, May 22, 2000 at Century Oaks Residential Care Center in Darboy.
She was born in Brillion on August 6. 1910, daughter of Frederick and Katherine (Schwandner) Buboltz. She married Carol Rosenberger in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1959. She was a graduate of Brillion High School.
Sarah worked at AAL until her retirement in 1976. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Synod. For many . years after she retired, she was a member of the St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, and was known for the many Christmas ornaments and the intricate handiwork she created.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law: Evelyn Buboltz, Brillion; Lillian Buboltz, Reedsville; nieces and nephews: Gretchen (David) Skoloda, Onalaska, David (Diane) Buboltz, Brillion; Paul Buboltz, Germantown, New York; Robert (Joanne) Wollersheim. Prairie du Sac; Mary Little, Lexington, Kentucky; Gloria (Lee) Kenneke, Freeport, Illinois; Jerry Buboltz, Sheboygan; Almond Jr. (Helen) Buboltz, Brillion; Eugene (Janet) Buboltz, Brillion; Eklore (Audrey) Buboltz, Brillion; Joanne (Ron) Vande Yacht, Greenleaf; Peggy (Gerald) Sonnabend, Brillion; Terry (Marlene) Buboltz, DePere; and many great nieces and nephews. Two special and caring friends, Unita Kehl and Jenny Baker also survive her.
Sarah was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and a niece, Marvis Buboltz.
Funeral services will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Appleton on Monday, May 29, 2000 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Randall Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton, The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
