Lorene Morgan Coddington, 92, of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Preceding her in death were her husband of 75 years, Willis Coddington; and their infant son. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters and sons- in-law, Janet and Glen Toms, of Roanoke, Va., Sandra McCaslin, of Birmingham, Ala., and Camille and James Glazebrook, of Roanoke, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Before moving to Roanoke in 1995, she was a resident of Eudora, Ark., for 60 years. Lorene was a gifted seamstress, who also worked as a reporter for the local newspaper. She worked alongside of her husband in their television business for several years, then later worked for and retired from the United States Postal Service.
