Antoinette was the daughter of Richard Featherston HARWELL and Eliza WHITFIELD. Orphaned at the age of three, she and her siblings were living with their uncle Logan D. HARWELL at the time of the 1850 census.

Antoinette was John Crutcher YOUNG's first wife, marrying before the 1860 census was taken. Together they had at least seven children: Lula Helen, A. F. (son), Mary E., John F., S. S. (son), Blanche, and H. B. (son) YOUNG.

Antoinette's marker is next to her children Mary's and John's markers. Her husband J. C. YOUNG is buried in the Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski. Antoinette has a newer marker (FindAGrave #44188287) in that cemetery also, but that marker apparently was put there as a memorial instead of an actual burial location.
