Barbara A. Aaron, 55, Route 28, Brookville, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Jefferson Manor Health Center.
Born Jan. 17, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Margaret "Peg" Gill Astorino of Brookville and the late Samuel F. Astorino.
She worked as a cook and a caterer.
She was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 983 Ladies Auxiliary in Brookville.
She is survived by a son, David Aaron Jr. of Summerville; two daughters, Christina Aaron of Strattanville and Gina Aaron of Brookville; a brother, Samuel Astorino of Brookville; four sisters: Pam Cook of Brookville, Jeanne Smith of Brookville, Mary Schuckers of Brookville and Jaime Caylor of Ohl; and three grandchildren: Jackson, Jessica, and Krista.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 4, at McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville with the Rev. William Laska officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Rose Township, Jefferson County.
