John Stark, a prominent citizen of Mill Creek, and a merchant there, died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock from pneumonia and pleurisy. He had been sick only a few days. Mr. Stark was well known in Wilkes-Barre where he lived for a number of years. He was identified with all the German societies in Wilkes-Barre. The remains will be removed to his father-in-law's residence, Mr. Steye, on Washington street, this morning. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Paul's German Lutheran church. Deceased leaves a wife and one child.
