KILLED IN CRASH SOUTH BEND, Ind., March 15. Alfred Hinchman, 72, New York Central flagman, was fatally hurt here tonight when struck by an automobile driven by E. L. Lawrence, who swerved his machine to avoid being struck by a fast passenger train. Hinchman was a pensioned employee of the railroad and was substituting for the regular flagman.
