Lot Hale, who owned a farm five miles east of Lomond, died yesterday at the home of his brother near Travers. Deceased left a couple of weeks ago to work in the B. C. lumber camps, but contracted the 'flu on his way there and was compelled to return home. On coming back he went to his own shack where no one knew of his condition and was there several days until the neighbors learning of his condition took him down to his brother's place, where pneumonia fatally developed within two days. The deceased has a sister in Lethbridge, Mrs. Geo. Shirly, well known to early settlers in the days of the Sweet Valley store and post office. Funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30. The burial in the Travers cemetery.
